Elance is looking for a Sr. Recruiter to join our growing team! Our ideal candidate has a proven track record of success placing 'A-players' and 'game-changers' into fast-growing, fast-paced companies like ours. It´s a must that you have strong sourcing skills, excellent client management skills and a keen understanding of how to assess candidates for an incredibly high talent bar. We are growing quickly, and we need a Recruiter who has demonstrated experience working with a fast paced technical recruiting team.
In this role, you will:
•Proactively source, engage and hire candidates for a variety of openings
•Develop talent-acquisition strategies and programs that build a readily available talent pool of Superstars
•Create recruiting strategies to present to peers, hiring managers and leadership
•Develop strong relationships with hiring managers and key internal stakeholders
•Utilize various direct and creative sourcing channels including professional networking and social media sites, etc.
•Conduct first line phone screens and in person interviews
•Make recommendations to hiring managers and act as internal consultant to hiring manager, providing guidance throughout the process
•Manage and maintain superb communication with candidates to keep them updated and engaged through the hiring process
To win in this role, you need:
•3-5 years of full lifecycle recruiting experience, plus a Bachelor's degree or equivalent
•Prior agency staffing and/or in-house recruiting for a web-based, SaaS startup company is highly desired
•Good understanding of job market, industry trends and the ability to adapt quickly when needed
•Excellent communication skills and proven sell and close candidates
•Ability to 'roll up your sleeves' and take on both tactical and strategic tasks
•Broad knowledge of programming languages, web technologies, software development process and emerging technologies
•Strong initiative
•Excellent follow through skills
•Focus and excellent prioritization skills
