Human Resources Generalist Position with Architecture Experience for Gensler Company - New York City, New York

Experienced HR Generalist who will be involved with all aspects of Human Resource
Responsibilities:
Work closely with HR team on employee relations, recruiting, learning and professional development programs
Handle employee issues, growth opportunities, future staffing assignments based on skills/goals, etc
Prepare documentation when dealing with employee work deficiencies
Involvement in staffing and other operational functions within the office as appropriate
Development and learning programs
Maintain and coordinate New York staff orientation programs (GO!)
Rollout annual PDP program and ensure the program is successful
Employee relations and regulatory compliance
Understand all Gensler policies and ensure compliance within the New York office
Adhere to all EEO/AAP tracking requirements
Handle and ensure all immigration and visa requests are handled appropriately
Maintain clear concise documentation when dealing with sensitive issues
Other duties and responsibilities as appropriate
Qualifications include:
Bachelors degree in Human Resources and 7-10 years experience, architecture or professional services firm experience preferred
PHR/SPHR/GPHR preferred
Expert in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); knowledge of InDesign a plus
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately
Excellent organizational skills; attention to detail
Ability to quickly learn systems, processes and procedures
Strong initiative and solid judgment abilities/skills
Team player with the ability to establish collaborative working relationships
Self-motivated and capable of working under tight deadlines
