Contract Administrator
RESPONSIBILITIES
Support all commercial goods contract-related activities.
Prepare, process and review all purchase and customer support agreements, including those of third-party vendors, to ensure compliance with company policies and practices.
Develop options and alternatives for proposals with the sales team, utilize quotation system to document all non-standard pricing and approve proposals within authority level.
Develop an intermediate level of understanding of the offered products, uses and be able to discuss alternative options with sales staff.
Communicate tactical bid and proposal activity.
Identify, review and act on site specific data (such as buyer identity, financial status of buyer, contingencies, extra-contractual company obligations) for all prospective orders.
Assist Regional Sales Management in monitoring forecast and pipeline data for assigned territories. Understanding the sales order goals for the current fiscal year by quarter.
Assist Regional Sales Management in determining contribution, gross margin, and net present value of proposals, especially as compared to established corporate goals.
Where appropriate, negotiate or escalate requested variations to policies related to pricing, terms and offer structure to senior staff for all types of contracts.
Utilize information related to order packages to establish project budgets and timelines in ERP and other business systems
Gather and process customer order data for management review and approval.
Maintain customer files and records as related to sales activities.
Support timely distribution of requested sales collateral material including brochures, newsletters, clinical reports, etc.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing and/or Management preferred.
Minimum 4+ years related experience.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Critical thinking capabilities
Strong initiative
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple high-priority tasks simultaneously
Strong attention to detail
Understanding of basic finance and accounting concepts and terminology
