Position Overview:
Bergerson Group is seeking an experienced alliance marketing program manager to support the client´s efforts to grow their business with strategic, global alliance partners.
The Program Manager will manage multiple projects across different functional areas and geographies expanding the client´s growing relationship with Intel. For these projects, the program manager´s ability to work across geographic and functional boundaries will ultimately measure success. The program manager will be in constant contact with Intel counterparts to drive joint client and Intel preference across any number of sales and marketing driven projects. S/he will oversee a virtual project staff including project engineers, vendors, subcontractors, or partners for the duration of the project and receives general project objectives and directions on new assignments.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• ENSURES PROJECT DELIVERY: Manage integration, interdependencies, and alignment of projects and/or tracks of work within and across functions as required. Create a project delivery schedule that includes financial, resource and marketing requirements.
• MANAGES COMMUNICATION: Manage project related communications within and outside of the project Proactively indentify and communicate impact to internal and external stakeholders. Freely provide information regarding project progress and scope using a project dashboard and/or internal/external status reports
• DEFINE SUCCESS METRICS: Identify and socialize project success metrics to the internal team and to external stakeholders. Evaluate project progress and results against success metrics.
• BUILDS TEAM: Exudes energy and enthusiasm. Promotes and recognizes the contribution of team members, and creates a positive work environment.
• RESOLVES ISSUES: Effectively identifies and resolves issues. Approves scope/cost/schedule/ quality changes through the project sponsor(board).
• ASSESSES RISK Proactively identifies risks, communicates risks to appropriate stakeholders and develops a risk mitigation strategy and a contingency plan.
• MANAGES PROJECT COST: Estimates project investment and requests budget allocation and reallocations. Ensures project is within budget. Tracks, reports, and closes out expenses and contractual obligations.
• MANAGES STAKEHOLDERS: Relationships: Identifies and establishes partnerships with stakeholders to build support, secure sponsorship, and ensure alignment for project outcomes, end-products and/or solutions
• DRIVES IMPROVEMENT Creates or re-engineers processes, resources, structure to gain productivity and improve project.
• DRIVES CHANGE Identifies impacts of the project, builds awareness and support for change within the organization
• BUILDS COMMUNITY: Provides leadership to client´s Project Management Community; promotes knowledge sharing across the company; strives to build a network of project managers
• DEVELOPS BEST PRACTICES: Initiate or participate in industry trend analysis and other project benchmarking, contributes to development of training
Skill Sets:
• 4+ years of work experience with 2+ years of Project Management Experience
• Past experience with leading the implementation of small to medium projects with budgets $250K-$3M
• Skilled at planning and prioritization processes to align team and resources towards the most important business objectives.
• Experience with reaching mutually satisfactory agreements by demonstrating a strong competency in active listening, problem solving, and negotiating with a focus on interests. Comfortable operating in ambiguous and fast paced, growing environment.
• Strong partnering, influencing & communication skills for all levels (i.e. individuals at the peer, management and executive level)
• The candidate should be able to determine risks and issues and is able to clearly communicate, to executive stakeholders, how these risks and issues affect the project and/or their business.
• Managed programs or projects through complete sets of program or project lifecycles: initiation, planning, execution and closure
• Managed projects/programs with multiple tracks and international stakeholders
• Experience in the Technology Services Industry
• Experience in working with Intel Marketing Funds in a plus!
