SERVICE PROVIDER MARKETING MANAGERS AT CISCO !


Job Description
This will be an advanced level marketing position ideally suited for a BA or Masters graduate with 5+ years of marketing experience. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of that experience with service providers marketing technology solutions. We are looking for an individual who is detail oriented and has demonstrable project management experience preferably PMP certified and competency in one or more of the following disciplines; Social Media, Communications, Event Management, Graphic Arts. The role will be responsible for innovating tools and processes to scale proven Tier 1 service provider marketing methods across tier 2, 3 & 4 service providers. The candidate will also be required to enable in country resources to replicate those methods across the EMEAR GEO.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Play a lead role in the execution of service provider led marketing campaigns.
2. Enable local Cisco teams to execute service provider led marketing campaigns.
3. Measure impact of marketing campaigns/ programs and formal Return on Investment reporting;
4. Assist marketing management with analysis of investments in the marketing budget;
5. Participate as necessary in presentations for customers, partners, and internal audiences;
6. Assist in creation of specific marketing approaches, including scaling tools, mentorship processes and new web 2.0 marketing tactics.
7. Must develop strong partnerships cross-functionally in order to support the organization's key communication deliverables.
8. Additional responsibilities include booking multimedia studios, managing logistics for global projects, special writing and/or content development assignments and representation as needed at corporate, tradeshow, or theatre sales events.

Skills Required:
1. Proven marketing skills, particularly segmentation, messaging, demand generation, measurement
2. Ability to manage marketing details and execution as well as develop strategy
3. Superior problem solving and project management skills. PMP certification recommended
4. Strong written, verbal communication, listening and presentation skills.
5. Ability to grasp technical product offerings and translate them into easily understood value propositions.
6. Creative approach to marketing programs and customer challenges.
7. Strong understanding of what Web2.0 is and the ability to spot trends and or market shifts in the online experience.
8. Should be an outgoing, outspoken marketer with a creative flair and a passion for innovation.
9. Experience with social media, communications, event management or graphic arts.
10. Ideally multilingual English/Mandarin/Japanese/Korean

Educational Background:
BS/BA/Masters;
Ideal candidate will have a degree in International Marketing or Communications
Ideal Candidate will have PMP certification
