Position Summary
We´re looking for an innovative, over-the-top thinker who can inspire, lead and drive best -in-class digital marketing for our portfolio of top consumer brands. Our goal: to find a star who loves digital and wants to bring their passion for the digital world to consumers. The successful candidate must be able to oversee planning and development across the entire digital ecosystem, from the web to social and mobile. Thought leadership is essential, but just as important is the flexibility of mind to drive to consumer insights using a variety of insight mining approaches, including social listening. Deep understanding of both behavioral and attitudinal analytics and measurement is a must. The successful candidate should have a working knowledge of advertising, marketing and the language of interactive technology. The strategist will be expected to both lead and manage multiple agencies and to demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively. He or she must be willing to work sometimes crazy hours; to push to get things done in a week when a month is needed; and to generally never give up when they have a good idea. We are looking for skills ranging from brand strategy to creative development. However, we admit a sense of humor can carry the day. Visionaries-in the-making need apply.
Responsibilities
* Lead digital strategy & planning for assigned brands in web, social and mobile. Planning includes providing a framework for continuous assessment of performance (listening, search, competitive and comparative landscapes along with various attitudinal approaches, including exit surveys) as well as developing one-year ´baseline´ plans and three-year ´battle plans.´* Uncover digital insights and provide thought leadership in a collaborative-integrated environment.* Serve as the brand´s online manager, overseeing development of promotional banner advertising as well as brand content, storefront (when applicable) CRM and the brand´s social ID.* Lead conversion to ´real-time marketing´ for assigned brand through strong capability in digital analytics, measurement and optimization; responsible for developing A/B and multivariate testing pilots to improve digital learning.* Provide and build digital capability across a full spectrum of digital vehicles that can ultimately help improve brand´s connection to consumers.* Manage the digital agency relationship to achieve outstanding thought leadership, creative work and measurable results. Work collaboratively to build a business partnership that ensures consistent high value for the Company.* Guide Brand management toward understanding and enabling the best digital approach for their brands.* Recommend and maintain digital partnerships that build the brand´s presence online and help drive sales.* Oversee program implementation to achieve outstanding results in a timely and cost effective manner. This will require the ability to manage junior staff to deliver projects in conjunction with other disciplines within the highly collaborative and integrated marketing communications group.* Responsible for the online brand´s iMACC (Marketing all communication calendar) to ensure the maximum engagement for all brand marketing campaigns and ongoing programs.* Control and manage the digital budget for the respective brands.* Work with team to digital training to educate peers and management within the company
Required Qualifications:
Experience: 8-10 years in digital marketing or related field as an analyst, research or planner with proven capability to:
* Harness the power of search marketing (SEO and SEM)* Assess web site design and web technology* Multi-task in a fast-paced environment* Evaluate digital experiences from a consumer point of view* Tap into strong business writing, storytelling, communication and presentation skills * Develop strong team performance* Improve digital experiences through deep understanding and application of analytics and measurement * Self-start and operate independently Education: Bachelor´s required, advanced degree in journalism, behavioral psychology or business preferred.
