Crawford Group (www.crawfordgroup.com) is looking for a Customer Briefing Center Specialist. This position is responsible for managing and executing logistical requirements and event set up for customer and partner visits to the client site as well as other customer experience activities such as video shoots etc. They are also responsible for managing the briefing center facility and systems, as well as some of the operational duties and supporting relationships essential to the briefing program. This role is integral to the success of customer experiences and the Customer Briefing Program, which is part of our client's America´s Marketing organization. Strategy, executing tactics and ongoing communications will be required.
Responsibilities:
* Works independently to define priorities, respond to field requests, and execute successful logistical plans for customer visits
* Pro-actively recognizes and solves problems as well as refine processes in their areas of responsibility
* Refines and manages requirements for customer visits and meetings held in the center, including event set up
* Requires strong attention to detail and responsive sense of urgency as well as exceptional flexibility, time management, and prioritization skills
* Supports multiple meetings simultaneously while also managing facility and logistical projects and vendors
* Knowledge of the Bay Area hospitality industry and experience coordinating fun, business appropriate activities for customers is desirable
* Manages all aspects of some logistics-only customer or non-customer meeting requests in the Customer Experience Center (CEC) and handles logistics for larger scale customer events
* Handles briefing center operations such as purchasing and inventory
* Ensuring that the CEC facility, technology, and environment support high-quality customer and sales force experiences that meet or exceed objectives
Skills:
* Customer briefing center experience is a must
* Experience running program/events at the executive level is a plus
* Requires business etiquette savvy, knowledge of the products and speakers, event management experience, as well as the ability to interact professionally with senior executives, sales teams and customers from around the world
* A strong work ethic and commitment to internal and external customers are essential
* A team player attitude is critical
* Excellent prioritization and problem solving skills with the ability to work through obstacles
* Knowledge of bay area hospitality industry and experience coordinating business appropriate activities a plus
* Someone that is committed to a role like this for the long-term
* Bachelors´ degree
RATE: D.O.E. as a W-2 employee of Crawford Group; benefits available
LOCATION: 90% onsite at the client's offices in San Jose, CA
HOURS/DURATION: Part-time (32 hours per week) ongoing, renewable quarterly
