Crawford Group (www.crawfordgroup.com) is seeking a Web Marketing Consultant to support the Services marketing organization of our San Jose based tech client. The consultant will collaborate with multiple internal stakeholders to manage the delivery of web marketing initiatives.
The ideal consultant has solid experience driving web strategy and initiatives for at least one large technology company. Seeking a consultant who excels in a fast paced environment and is comfortable making decisions to move projects forward with only 60% of the necessary information.
Responsibilities:
* Develop web strategy in partnership with internal stakeholder to deliver web site redesigns and new pages for solution launches
* SEO (Search Engine Optimization) plans, content updates and marketing message refinements
* Participate in project planning and coordination of team web projects, work with design and content/editing resources to develop web page mock-ups to hand-off to a web developer
* Perform QA testing before and after key launch activities
* Obtain and analyze website success metrics, create presentations for read-out of programs and recommend refinements to drive better results
* Follow best practices for web user experience to ensure good user experience, implement SEO and site search best practices; reinforce web best practices, processes and procedures
Skills:
* Must have 3-5 years of web marketing experience for at least one global technology company, agency-side or client-side
* Experience with technology products or services required
* Familiarity with large company brand compliance and internal review processes required by multiple stakeholders when launching new content for an external company web site
* Experience with SEO best practices, ability to provide guidance for content development that will optimize web page customer engagement
* Comfort in providing web marketing best practice advice to internal clients
* Samples/examples from previous work that highlights collecting and supplying data for the purpose of pitching or reinforcing a marketing strategy delivering customer-focused results is encouraged
* Excellent interpersonal skills, capability to quickly build rapport and foster strong relationships and gain consensus
* Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Outlook
* Bachelors' degree
Rate: D.O.E., as a w2 employee of Crawford Group
Location: 60% onsite at clients' office in San Jose, 40% offsite/work from home. No phone calls please
Hours/duration: Full time, January 13, 2013 – one year.
