Compensation, Benefits & HRIS Manager
Location: San Jose, CA
This position will be responsible for overseeing all compensation, benefits and HR systems corporate wide. Ensures that overall compensation is competitive at all company locations. Works with insurance brokers to provide competitive and cost effective health and welfare benefits. Responsible for workers compensation, qualified and non-qualified retirements plans, and the company safety program and LOA programs.
Designs, Implements and manages Company compensation programs Including market studies, salary ranges, focal reviews, executive compensation, management compensation tools and bonus plans. Ensures compliance to federal and state wage and hour laws.
Develops and implements cost effective benefits that are competitive within each geographic area that the company operates. Stays abreast of changes in the health and welfare landscape to identify the most effective offerings for company employees. Ensures that employees are well educated in how to select and manage their benefits each year beginning with the annual open enrollment.
Oversees the Company Workers' Compensation program to contain costs and mitigate lost time injuries.
Oversees all Human Resources data bases and software including the HRIS, LOA software, and performance management software. Ensures the Integrity of the data. Develops systems for providing management with applicable employee data and reports.
Acts as Plan Administrator for all company qualified and non-qualified retirement plans including 401(k), 403(b), 467(b) and 457(1) plans. Heads the 401(k) Committee to ensure that the Company offers leading retirement plans with an array of high performing funds with competitive management fees. Effectively communicates the plans to employees. Ensures that the Company meets all fiduciary requirements.
Oversees all company leaves of absence, ensuring legal compliance and consistency.
Oversees the Company Safety Program which Involves multiple committees and Safety Representatives at each clinic and. Ensures proper investigation and follow through on safety incidents.
Acts as the HR point person for mergers and acquisitions from due diligence through on boarding and assimilation.
Requirements:
Minimum of five years management experience in compensation and benefits.
Healthcare experience preferred.
Prefer experience as an HR generalist.
BA degree in Human Resources or related field
