Minimum Education - Bachelor's Degree (REQUIRED)

Preferred Education - Masters' Degree

Description of the Ideal Candidate:

Our client is looking for someone with 5-8 years of experience. The plant has 200-250 employees. They are really looking for someone who is mobile, and willing to move within the organization within a few years.

Masters' Degree

Experience Level (Minimum 3 Years)

Travel Required (Up to 10 percent)

 

Basic Qualifications (Including Educational Requirements):

- Bachelor's degree required from an accredited institution

- Minimum 3 years direct HR work experience

- Must be legally authorized to work in the US on an on-going basis without sponsorship.

 

Summary:
The Human Resources Manager is responsible to develop, implement and administer Human Resources policies, practices, strategies and services across Newbern, TN plant. Assure all Human Resources activities are compatible with progressive corporate values and mission. Counsel and influence management/leadership regarding policies, practices, laws and regulations and monitor application to insure positive and equitable employee relations. Lead the introduction and integration of new corporate programs and initiatives. Monitor all corporate programs such as EBS, our company jobs, HRMS, our company's University, MESH, OCA, E-STAR among others. Plan, develop and implement employee communication, recognition and motivational programs that enhance the working environment and aid in attracting and retaining superior talent.

 

Key Responsibilities:

- Administer employee relation's policies and procedures that are responsive to the needs of employees and customers; as well as compliment the company's Philosophy and Values Statements.

- Monitor performance management procedures to assure fair and equitable treatment for all employees.

- Inform and train employees of Corporate and Divisional human resources policies and procedures.

- Provide a resource for all managers and supervisors in the areas of Human Resources including guidance on motivating, counseling, and developing direct and indirect reports, as well we employee performance improvements.

- Represent the Company's programs, policies, and procedures in matters involving EEOC, AAP, and OFCCP.

- Develop, implement and monitor compliance with affirmative action policies that meet federal and state legislation as well as Corporate policy.

- Direct and coordinate the recruitment, selection and promotion process of applicants to meet salaried requirements.

- Coordinate training and development programs, including new employee orientation, to meet the needs and objectives of individuals and departments.

- Manage the performance appraisal system, salary planning and the OCA process.

- Conduct, coordinate and monitor employee meetings and involvement programs.

- Represent the Newbern, TN facility in community activities. Administer local charitable contributions, including United Way.
