Must have 10-15 years of experience

Rate: $95-100 all inclusive

Location: Houston, TX

Duration: 6 months

Industry Background
 

·         Experience with SAP SRM Projects  in process industry (Oil & Gas or Chemical) or (less preferred) consumer product industry. 5 to 7 full project life cycles

·         Experience in working in big organization, which includes the application of extended review and stewardship procedures.

·         Ability to deliver in cross-functional areas (functionality impacting various modules concurrently).

·         SAP SRM 7.0 projects with experience covering some or all of the below areas:

o    Interfacing with multiple SAP ECC 6 instances

o    Extensive experience with Shopping Cart config, Self Service Procurement, Purchasing Documents, Central Contracts Management, and BRF Workflow

o    Usage of BRF (Business Rules Framework) workflows for requests review and approval,

o    Classic and Extended Classic deployment scenarios,

o    HR Integration experience

o    SRM-MDM Catalog configuration,

o    Netweaver Business Client and/or Enterprise Portal

 
System Design Skills
 

·         Ability to support business process redesign.

·         Strong ability to collect business requirements, perform a fit/gap analysis and apply SAP industry best practices.

·         Ability to define and describe scope, requirements and use cases for SAP SRM implementations.

·         Ability to write solid and detailed functional and technical design documents in English, to be handed over to developers or other project staff, covering design for configuration items and custom developments.  Also, be able to write test scenarios, end-user work instructions and unit and integrated test plans.

·         Experience in applying structured SAP implementation methodology.

·         Ability to lead gap assessment workshops sessions globally.  Able to balance local versus global perspective, perform synthesis of gathered information and propose effective and workable global process solution.

·         Work with business experts to understand their requirements, guide and advise them on best solution approach.  Manage business experts with confidence.

·         Experience in conducting system tests, creating test cases, documenting results, preferably with working knowledge of HPQC (Quality Center).

·         English fluency (spoken and written).

·         Ability to handle multiple issues/tasks simultaneously with changing priorities.

·         Ability to work effectively in an integrated fashion across multiple teams, in an environment with broad cultural diversity and across different time zones.

·         Ability to work effectively in virtual environments, utilizing audio conference and online collaboration tools.

·         Need to be able to prioritize and work with various resources (project internal & external) to get issues resolved.

·         Ability to communicate work progress across the project.

·         Ability to conduct requirement gathering and solution design verification interviews.

·         Ability to explain technical concepts to a non-IT audience (such as business subject matter experts).

·         Presentation and system demonstration skills.
