Customer Service/Account Executive position -Atlas Roofing Corp. - Atlanta

 

Essential duties and responsibilities include:

* Entering, processing, managing and updating customer orders in the order entry system

* Sending confirmation to customers on all orders and advising customers and sales personnel of lead times as well as following up on job quotes to secure orders

*  Interacting frequently with sales and plant personnel regarding incoming orders, customer needs, schedules and market demand

*  Contacting architects and contractors and making decisions in competitive price situations by fielding technical inquires, and contacting appropriate personnel as necessary

*  Managing confidential information and documents such as pricing information, manufacturing costs, rebates, and discounts

*  Resolving invoice discrepancies by frequently communicating with the credit dept, field sales, and/or customer account payable

*  Analyzing and determining most efficient method to resolve customer problems and complaints while providing customer satisfaction at minimum cost to the Company

*  Assisting with administrative functions (sales reports, quotation reports, shipping schedule board)

*   Traveling to other plants assuming same responsibilities as needed

 

Education and/or Experience

*  Qualified candidates have a four-year degree in business, marketing or related field or four to five years of customer service experience

 

Other Skills and Abilities

*  Excellent telephone skills, ability to multi-task, strong organizational skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel are required. 

Knowledge of PeopleSoft is a plus.
