SaaS Product Marketing Manager, San Jose, CA
We are looking for a Software/Services Product Marketing Manager for an ongoing contractor role within the services organization of a global high technology leader. The Product Marketing manager needs to have a strong background in software product marketing with excellent skills in messaging and positioning products. The ability to grasp and translate technical capabilities into benefits is crucial, along with attention to detail and an eye for quality. Role entails working with Product Management, outbound marketing. field sales organizations and other stakeholders to create positioning documents and sales tools to accelerate adoption of new software service products being introduced to the enterprise markets.
This is a 40 hour per week role onsite in at the client's offices in San Jose, as a w-2 employee of Stage 4 Solutions. This is an ongoing contract opportunity, with quarterly contracts.
Responsibilities
• Develop product positioning and messaging that differentiates the products in the market and highlights the value to customers
• Sales enablement – communicate the value proposition of the products to customers and the sales team
• Develop sales tools and marketing collateral, such as white papers, presentations, case studies and ROI calculators
• Support sales efforts with customers and partners
Requirements
• 10+ years of software product marketing experience with enterprise software and/or service products for enterprise markets
• Very strong written communication skills
• Ability to collect requirements, size effort and deliver on schedule
• Excellent people and management skills to interact with colleagues, peers in cross-functional teams, and third parties.
• BS degree
