Elance is looking for a Rock Star Visual Designer to join our growing UX team. You'll help take our next-generation design language new levels by creating clean, integrated and inspiring visual experiences across all customer channels. If you have an awe-inspiring portfolio bursting at the seams with brilliant product design, CRM and product marketing work, give us a holler.

In this role, you will:

•Lead visual design throughout the entire product lifecycle, from initial explorations through final design deliverables
•Create highly effective designs for CRM and product marketing campaigns
•Produce deliverables such as storyboards, screen layouts, color palettes, typography, assets, and style guides
•Translate conceptual ideas into engaging visual designs and solutions
•Communicate design strategy and rationale to key stakeholders
•Develop visual interface specifications while collaborating with UX designers to integrate visual and interaction design
•Be a subject matter expert in the area of visual design, branding, typography and all aspects of the emotional user experience
•Collaborate with product, engineering and development partners
•Train and mentor other visual designers
•Need to provide a link to your portfolio when applying

To win in this role, you will need:

•A degree in Interaction Design, Graphic Design, Web Design or related field. BS required, MS is highly preferred
•5+ of work experience in visual design for applications on desktop, tablet and smart phones
•Deep knowledge of visual design principles, color use and typography
•Strong proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite tools
•To enjoy communicating and collaborating with product, engineering and other development partners
•Ability to multitask and manage multiple small to large projects in a cross-functional environment
•Demonstrated leadership in visually-focused software design projects
•Working knowledge of web front-end technologies including HTML5, CSS, JavaScript
•To submit your Design Portfolio along with your resume – it's a must
