Manufacturing Corporate Controller position – Midtown Atlanta
Corporate Controller position for a chemical manufacturing and distribution company that has doubled twice in the past four years. Their future is just as exciting, as they plan on going from $40 Million in revenue to $100 Million in the next four to five years.
The successful candidate will be able to oversee Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, and IT/Information Technology. The right match will be someone excited to join a company with so much growth, but also not afraid of jumping into a bit of a cleanup situation requiring new policies, improved procedures, improved controls and improved systems.
Job Duties:
- Manage three person accounting department
- Manage month-end close and production of financial statements
- Present financials and analysis to the president
- Manage inventory costing and process cost accounting
- Improve financial system accuracy and automation
- Improve financial and operational controls
- Improve financial forecasting and analysis
Job Requirements:
- Accounting degree and active CPA required
- 12 or more years of accounting experience in a manufacturing environment
- 5 or more years of Controller experience
- Extensive inventory costing experience required
- Chemical manufacturing experience preferred
- MS Dynamics GP or similar ERP required
- Experience improving IT systems, experience automating processes required
