Job Description:
Marketing Coordinator- Alameda location
The marketing coordinator position requires both marketing and project management capabilities. A successful candidate must be able to work independently, while also working effectively within a team environment. Must be proactive, has strong written, verbal and organization and records management skills and a creative mindset.
Primary job responsibilities include:
• Support the marketing department with the development of global marketing campaigns, new product marketing and additional marketing tasks as needed
• Prepare and monitor marketing and public relations reports, goals and outcomes; communicates regularly and effectively with supervisor to ensure goals are met and understood
• Communicates effectively with outside vendors for sponsorship, advertising and other contractual agreements
• Manage and maintain marketing content on internal website including calendar of events, approved speakers and topics and library of marketing materials available for global use
• Prepare project plans and manage calendars, organize meetings, and manage photo/video shoots
• Monitor budgets by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts
• Create and publish daily posts on Wind River's social media channels
• Maintain media and analyst lists
• Help with event logistics as needed
• Accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments
Required skills & qualifications:
• Act as a strong brand advocate for Wind River
• Possess a great attention to detail
• Ability to think progressively and creatively with the intent to constantly optimize and improve our processes and execution of programs.
• Bachelor's Degree required
• 3 years of experience in related position.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Intermediate proficiency in MS Suite of Products.
