Telecom - Contract Recruiter
$25.00 - $30.00 an hour
Short Term Project (3 month – Strong possibility to Extend for Longer)
· The position will be responsible for the following:
· Heavy sourcing, recruiting, and coordinating in the engineering and telecommunications field
· Generating a pool of passive candidates
· Maintaining recruiting files, documentation and communication with candidates
· Maintaining recruiting database
· Develop and execute recruiting plans
· Network through industry contacts, association memberships, trade groups and employees
· Assist with college recruiting initiatives
· Administrative duties and recordkeeping
· Develop and Execute Recruiting Plans
· Lead the creation of a recruiting and interviewing plan for each open position
· Efficiently and effectively fill open positions
· Conduct regular follow-up with manager to determine the effectiveness of recruiting plans and implementation
· Develop a pool of qualified candidates in advance of need
· Research and recommend new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting
· Build networks to find qualified passive candidates
· Utilize the Internet for recruitment
--Post positions to appropriate Internet sources
--Research new ways of using the Internet for recruitment.
--Use social and professional networking sites to identify and source candidates.
· Administrative Duties and Record Keeping
· Review applicants to evaluate if they meet the position requirements
· Conduct prescreening interviews
· Maintain all pertinent applicant and interview data in the Human Resources Information System (HRIS)/Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
· Assist in performing reference and background checks for potential employees
· Assist in interviewing and selecting employees onsite
· Assist in preparing and sending offer packages
· Assist in preparing and sending new employee orientation packages
· Perform other special projects and administrative duties as assigned
· SKILLS REQUIRED:
· High school graduate, 4 year college graduate preferred
· Excellent telephone skills and computer knowledge with proficiency in database
· management and word processing
· Demonstrated proficiency composing written communications
· High energy level, comfortable performing multifaceted projects in conjunction with day to-
· day activities
· Resourceful, well organized, highly dependable, efficient and detail oriented
· 5+ years previous job experience with recruiting qualified candidates in technical fields
Flexibility to work from Home – must come into the office a few days a week…
