Overview
Plans and directs all activities of the Sales, Customer Service and Customer Training Departments to achieve top-line revenue objectives, built accurate forecasting models, generate profitable organic business growth, influence product development process, implement marketing objectives, build and strengthen long-term and positive business relationships with customers, drive continuous improvement in sales capacity and sales conversion rates, and continuously enhance the value of Atlona products and services in the view of customers, using a pro-active, process-driven, metrically-evaluated approach.
Key Responsibilities
• Manages all sales activities, departments and personnel involved in sales, inside sales, customer service and technical sales/training for the company
• Provides leadership for the day-to-day operations of the sales department, while maintaining focus on the company's strategic goals
• Contributing member of the Company's Senior Management Staff
• Analyzes sales statistics to determine business growth potential
• Builds accurate forecasting models for the Company
• Develops and executes global sales strategies for the company
• Establishes performance goals and metrics for all sales department staff
• Participates in development of the Strategic Marketing Plan for the Company
• Directs department to achieve objectives established in the Company's Strategic Plan
• Coordinates sales operations with all other departments/divisions of the Company
• Develops, maintains and improves business relations with all customers of the Company
• Seeks out and targets new customers and new sales opportunities to secure new business for the Company
• High level responsibility for all trade accounts receivables, monitors A/R aging on a proactive basis and coordinate with Financial Department
• Manages, maintains and develops processes in Netsuite system to serve efficient and effective sales process
• Manages department budgets and other expenses related to sales activities
Minimum Qualifications
• Must have, 5+ years of high level sales management experience in the pro Audio Video industry.
• Bachelor's degree in business development or related, equivalent field of study
• Direct experience managing medium sized teams
• Developing and executing sales and marketing programs in consumer electronics and pro audio/video sales channels
• Strong presentation and computer skills
• Experience building sales trainings and certification programs for the channel
• Solid experience managing and deploying sales promotions and programs, incentives compensation plans and loyalty programs
• Familiarity with sales and marketing automation, lead-generation and CRM/ERP software tools and systems – Netsuite, SalesForce, Pardot and similar
• Experience collaborating in cross-functional teams: sales, customer service and product management
• Strong project management and organizational skills, excellent written and verbal communications skills
• Proven track record of building and leading sales organization in a period of rapid growth
• Solid management skills and ability to lead and motivate team to meet and exceed expectations
• Thrives in a fast pace and dynamic environment, and is experienced in change management initiatives.
• Ability to travel domestically and abroad – potential travel of up to 30% at times.
