About the role:
GuideSpark is seeking an exceptional enterprise B2B SaaS Product Marketing
Director to develop, execute and manage a variety of product marketing
initiatives. At GuideSpark, Product Marketing plays a critical role in
successfully driving our products into the marketplace and developing a strategy
to drive customer awareness of the benefits of adopting GuideSpark products.
Responsibilities:
• Develop product positioning and messaging that resonates with target market
and target prospects that differentiates our products in the market and
highlights the value to customers
• Understand market and drive competitive analysis including opportunity sizing,
understanding of the competition and recommending winning strategies for
differentiation in the market
• Define the go-to-market strategy and deliver and execute the marketing plan
necessary to meet key metrics such as revenue and customer acquisition
• Create compelling marketing content to support go-to-market efforts
(presentations, datasheets, white papers, customer case studies, blogs video
demos and ROI calculators)
• Works with the sales force and channel on positioning products and solutions
and develops and delivers sales tools and sales enablement training
• Know the customer – have close relationships with important customers and be
able to evangelize how our products have been successful in different customer
scenarios
• Cultivate customer references that can be leveraged across the sales cycle
• Work closely with the marketing team to determine and execute lead generation,
analyst relations, and public relations programs.
• Evangelize company and product at venues such as user groups, industry events,
and partner events
• Work with product strategy to identify and validate new product opportunities
Requirements:
• 10+ years of software product marketing experience with enterprise software
and/or service products for enterprise markets
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as the ability to
translate features into business benefits and create compelling collateral and
content
• Demonstrated ability to create highly compelling product marketing collateral
• Experience leading and motivating people, and encouraging teamwork
• Effective spokesperson skills engaging small and large customer groups
• Ability to multitask, change priorities rapidly and work under pressure
• Ability to excel in a fast pace team-oriented environment
