Storage Architect
Job Description:
Storage architects develop and deliver storage technology solutions that drive the storage architecture for the next generation product line and help in technically managing the new storage deployments including proof-of-concept and production.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of hands on experience with storage technologies (EMC, NetApp, IBM. HP, Oracle), including architecture and design
- Architecting and implementing storage, backup/recovery, high availability or data management solutions
- Strong exposure to hardware platforms and operating systems
- Experience on designing scalable storage architecture for critical business systems
- Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree
Preferred skills:
- Experience on architecting and designing SSD appliances or high performance solid state systems.
- Strong skills on SAS/SATA controllers, PCIe/NVMe device interface or solid state media controllers.
- Implementing disaster recovery processes and procedures
- Planning future storage capacity
