The Role: President

We are currently searching for an accomplished President to grow and expand on the success achieved by our organization. The President will have full P&L responsibility and is expected to effectively manage the business and achieve planned increases in revenue and net income while following Avgroup's vision. They will also be responsible for ensuring that the organization has the necessary key talent to achieve goals and objectives and will make necessary changes in order to achieve these results. Our ideal candidate will be an ambitious visionary with a dynamic presence, the ability to drive results, and inspire an organization to further success both domestically and internationally. The President will be expected to be both strategic and tactical in helping Avgroup increase revenue and net income, improve operations, manage personnel and inventory, and expand both domestically and internationally. Incumbent must be able to travel up to 25% of the time.
Required Skills & Experience:
•Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or similar; MBA preferred
•Fifteen plus years of progressive leadership experience in a General Manager/Director/VP level role with P&L responsibility and demonstrated ability to significantly grow revenue and profits
•Experience working in a smaller, established private company where founders and/or previous leadership are actively involved in the business; will consider those who have worked for a smaller division of a larger company
•Demonstrated accomplishments in turnaround situations or successful growth of an established company
•Strong history of successful experience managing sales (inbound and outbound), operations, marketing and logistics as evidenced by strong financial results, demonstrated leadership, improved efficiencies, and large-scale process improvement initiatives
•Established history of hiring, building, and inspiring a core high-performance team to meet and/or exceed goals and objectives
•Ability to identify, quantify, and implement business performance process improvement initiatives
•Visionary and strategic thinker who understands fiscal operations and their impact
