The Sage Group is seeking a Senior Web Analyst to work for a leading software company in San Francisco, CA. This person will support cross-functional teams and provide analysis and insights on performance of product centers, industry centers, and other key web programs to optimize the overall customer experience.
Responsibilities Include:
- Turn data into actionable insights to improve the customer experience and optimize business and marketing ROI.
- Lead research projects that incorporate web traffic and behavior, site conversions and funnels, and customer feedback and satisfaction ratings.
- Provide proactive insights based on regular analyses and inquiries for performance against business objectives.
- Manage, prioritize, and respond to ad-hoc requests for web performance from internal stakeholders and web project teams.
Skills Required:
- Strong analytical skills with an ability to review large amounts of data to form hypotheses and draw meaningful patterns and insights from different data sources
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to clearly communicate and present findings and recommendations to team members and senior management
- Strong critical thinking skills with an ability to understand goals and objectives of web products and projects and provide recommendations on how to use web metrics, customer feedback, and market benchmarks to monitor success
- Experience using web analytics tools, specifically SiteCatalyst or Google Analytics
- Detail oriented with strong project management skills
- Basic knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, web logs databases and data warehousing
