REGIONAL HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGER- Bare Escentuals

Bare Escentuals, Inc. is one of the fastest growing prestige cosmetic companies in the United States and a leader in mineral-based cosmetics.

The Regional Human Resources Manager will be responsible building and maintaining strong partnerships with our field management team resulting in employee happiness and increased sales.

The Regional Human Resources Manager will provide expertise and support on a wide range of HR solutions including managing high performance teams in a high growth environment, resolving employee relations issues, identifying and addressing training and developmental opportunities and providing guidance in performance management.

We are seeking a Human Resources professional who has effectively built credibility at all levels within the organization, who demonstrates exceptional influencing skills and solution oriented decision making abilities.

Primary Responsibilities
• Act as the key human resources business partner to the East Coast Regional Director, diagnosing and discussing Regional needs, putting action plans in place to drive results and support people initiatives
• Provide ongoing development and overall support to the District Managers within their Region on all aspects of organizational effectiveness to include hiring selection, employee relations, performance management and employee development
• Participate in Regional meetings and conference calls to provide partnership and gain an understanding of the business needs
• Effectively resolve all employee relations issues within the region in partnership with the District Managers
• Create strong partnerships with the human resources team collaborating on key initiatives and execution of HR related practices
• Work in conjunction with human resources partners and retail leadership teams to create strategies to increase performance, drive sales and reduce regrettable turnover
• Constantly assess the training needs of the Region and provide feedback to inform the direction of ongoing development
• Collaborate on the development and facilitation of trainings that result in the development of our teams
• Participate in market tours to evaluate current climate, employee performance and business needs
• Support and provide guidance on HR processes within the Region to include performance reviews, talent assessment and succession planning
• Ensure location and company compliance with all federal and state laws and company policies

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Job Qualifications
• Ability to work EST business hours
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a Human Resources generalist/business partner capacity
• BA/BS degree preferred
• Strong employee relations experience
• Previous HR experience in supporting field/retail industry preferred
• Demonstrated analytical thinking, problem solving and decision making skills
• Ability to listen to and balance the needs of the employees and the needs of the organization
• Comfort in providing pushback and feedback
• Ability to work collaboratively and build positive/effective business partnerships
• Ability to successfully manage change and deal with ambiguous situations
• Ability to interact with all levels of management in a fast paced, high growth, changing environment
• Must have outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
• Proven project management skills and project leadership capabilities
• Knowledge of federal and state regulations and compliance
