We are an established ATE company that currently has an opportunity for a Senior level Software Engineer to join our team.

In this role; you will be developing calibration, verification and diagnostic software for our ATE equipment. You will participate in the full software lifecycle including architecture, design, implementation, integration/testing, debug, documentation and release. You will work with hardware engineers to ensure that ATE subsystems meet their functional and accuracy specifications. Must be able to work closely with hardware, software and operations engineering to bring-up and diagnose chip and board issues.

This opportunity will allow someone to work on a large software system and be a key contributor to our future software development for our ATE products.

Skills you will have:

•5 – 10 year's minimum software development, ideally with Linux and/or Unix.
•Strong C++ programming skills & knowledge of object-oriented concepts.
•Understanding of typical hardware failure modes & how to test for them.
•Ability to understand hardware block diagrams and schematics.
•Ability to understand engineering, manufacturing & customer requirements.
•Experience of all phases of the SW lifecycle
•Effective communications skills; both internally and cross-functionally.

BSEE/CS/CE (MSCS/MSEE preferred) with strong programming background required and at least 5-10 years experience in software development, in particularly drivers. Proficient in Linux/Unix, and working knowledge of Clearcase. Familiarity with Automatic Test Equipment (ATE).
