PHP, javascript and jQuery.Currently, there are 4 classification levels – Minimum, Minimum Restrictive, Medium and Close. This project reduces the number of levels to 3 – Minimum, Medium and Close, as well as changing the scoring criteria of new instruments.
Existing instruments and scoring must be maintained. Identify, analyze and design new procedures and processes to allow scoring of initial and reclassification instruments for both the male and female offender population. This includes integration of exiting instruments for historical purposes. Identify and enforce web development standards, libraries and frameworks for this application. Resolve technical
support problems related to this application. Programming experience must include PHP,Objective Oriented Methodologies, MVC Patterns, HTML, JavaScript and AJAX and jQuery.
Maintain contact with users from both the DOC and outside agencies to resolve technical problems related to this application. Respond quickly and accurately to management requests of changes regarding this application.
Responsibilities
• Add new classification instruments for initial classification and reclassification for both male and female offenders as determined by the Departments Central Classification Review Committee.
• Maintain support for existing instruments.
• Integrate this new instrument into the Department's existing Offender Portal with appropriate security access as defined by the Department.
• Design, build, test and implement this system, using table driven standards
enabling the modification of future instruments without programming changes.
