Bay Area TechWorkers is seeking a motivated and open-minded Product Manager to work on a cutting edge SaaS healthcare application. This application will help support quality care improvements and reduced administrative costs across the healthcare industry.
Responsibilities
This person will be working with Product Teams of 6-8 developers and QA personnel to develop features for our client's SaaS-based healthcare platform.
Product Managers are responsible for the entire product lifecycle from the original idea through development and launch to real customers in Production. Product Managers take ownership of one or more product backlogs, building a set of features that can be scoped and taken forwards when they are prioritized. They will also work with a set of stakeholders to develop strategy in their product area, and ensure the value message is defined and delivered.
Position Description
Our Product Managers are both the leaders and key collaborators in the intersection between business and technology.
• Work with Customers: Analyze complex business needs and define solutions. Champion the customer view throughout the organization.
• Work with Stakeholders: Manage the product roadmap and provide visibility to options, decision points, and milestones. Develop product and marketing strategy and explain and validate this with stakeholders. Define how to map a larger product goal to an iterative, agile deployment model.
• Work with teams: Define features and stories with your team. Manage the development lifecycle in partnership with project and technical people on the team. Partner on design, process, and product lifecycle
You will develop deep expertise in your business areas, and provide key definition and breakdown of features and stories. You will prioritize work for your team in consultation with your stakeholders and development leads. At the same time, you will work with the executive, strategy, education, and marketing teams to bring a product vision to life in a rapidly evolving landscape. You will work with senior management to create and deliver customer value.
Key Qualifications
• Ideal candidates will have 4+years experience as a Product Manager, bringing products from initial inception to fully live and supported in the hands of customers.
• At least 4 years experience working with a development team, and know how to manage the impact of technical considerations and constraints, as well as being able to explain issues to a nontechnical audience.
• Applicants should have experience in related product areas, including strategy, marketing, and product roadmaps.
Additional Skills
• Healthcare experience, especially in exchange of medical relevant information
• Experience in a Scrum, Kanban, or Agile development environment
Experience in strategy, marketing, customer engagement, and support
• Education
4-year degree in related field or equivalent experience.
