We utilize a distinctive marketing strategy and multi-channel distribution model to develop, market and sell cosmetics, skin care, and body care products under its bareMinerals, RareMinerals and namesake Bare Escentuals brands, and professional skin care products under its md formulations brand through infomercials, home shopping television, specialty beauty retailers, company-owned boutiques, spas and salons, and online shopping.

The Benefits Manager is responsible for managing and administering Bare Escentuals' domestic health and welfare and retirement benefit plans, ensuring a competitive benefits package which supports our employees' physical, financial & mental health. This hands-on role is responsible for monitoring benefit trends, identifying and developing new/innovative offerings consistent with the company's overall benefit objectives, educating and assisting employees with our benefit offerings, and ensuring ongoing plan compliance.

Primary Responsibilities
•Manage the development, implementation and administration of Bare Escentuals' US health & welfare plans and programs.
•Manage the implementation and administration of Bare Escentuals' US health & welfare plans and programs. Monitor market practices, trends and requirements to ensure benefit offerings remain market competitive, fiscally responsible, and legally compliant. Working with manager and benefits broker, recommend strategies to manage health care costs which appropriately balance employee and company priorities.
•Manage annual renewals and open enrollment planning, identifying and presenting changes/enhancements to US benefit offerings and cost-sharing as appropriate.
•Develop and implement communication strategies to ensure effective promotion & understanding of US benefit offerings to employees, candidates, and family members. Conduct and periodically fine-tune new hire benefits orientation.
•Transition and oversee benefits administration responsibilities performed by HR operations team and third-party vendors (including employee inquiries, claims assistance, benefits eligibility, billing, COBRA and leave of absences administration). Provide outstanding customer service for escalated employee benefit and leave questions.
•In partnership with other HR partners and company stakeholders, identify and promote wellness initiatives which support overall benefits strategy; manage programs; monitor & report return-on-investment.
•Manage relationships with US benefit broker, advisors, carriers and vendors, ensuring high performance standards are met or exceeded.
•Periodically audit health, welfare and 401(k) benefit plans and deductions to ensure plans remain current and legally compliant; may oversee annual 401(k) non-discrimination testing and audits.

Job Qualifications
•Bachelor´s Degree in Business Administration or equivalent and 4+ years of relevant experience.
•Retail experience preferred
•Strong working knowledge of US state and federal laws pertaining to benefits and 401(k) plans
•Excellent interpersonal, customer service and written/verbal communication skills.
•Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
•Ability to handle confidential employee information with discretion and good judgment.
•Proactive, collaborative team member with excellent attention to detail and strong sense of urgency and follow through.
•Strong knowledge of MS Excel, Word & Power Point
