Description: Seeking an Experienced Web Content Strategist capable of leading, strategizing, managing, and web content update project. Responsible for working closely with stakeholders, marketing managers, marketing communication managers, and writers to meet online marketing, search/SEO and product content needs. Project is to assist in development of a strategy and to oversee execution of operations to implement. Approximately 2 months strategy; plan will dictate implementation schedule.
Bay area not required; we are on the west coast, so seeking consultant in Pacific Time zone.
Looking for:
• B2B, Technology Web and Online Marketing experience, including Web program/project management
• Ability to apply SEO best practices and ensure integration into plans
• Successful track record with large-corporate high tech web content across products, solutions, services, employees and partner sites
• Capability to collaborate and apply web; standards, branding, messaging, content and design elements
• Working knowledge of Content Management and Publishing
• Experience with Social Media Tools
• Expertise with web analytics and application of keyword research to content strategy and execution
• Proven ability to work strategically and tactically to get things done. Adept at knowing how to take an idea and then create an effective action plan with next steps
• Passion for the web, solid working knowledge of current Internet technologies
• Marketing or Marketing Communications background
• Experience with telecommunications and networking markets
• Access to appropriate technical writers a plus
